Three children dead in Kasese rain

Kasese, Uganda – Three children have been confirmed dead after heavy rains on Sunday night in the western Uganda district of Kasese.

A release from the spokesperson of the Uganda Red Cross Society, Irene Nakasiita says that the dead include Biira Patience 15 years and Kabugho Kiin 13 years children of Baluku Eriano Bakalania and Kabugho Misles.

Another dead is a boy by the names of Mumbere Owen, 10 years. His parents are Baluku Lauren and  Kiiza Esther all residents of Block 1 Rugendabara parish in Kitswamba Sub county.

Nakasiita while quoting Red Cross volunteers in Kasese said Owen was killed when a structure of their collapsed on him.
