The Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) has urged farmers not to start planting crops because the country, is still in the dry season of December, January and February as the main planting season is still ahead. Speaking to journalists at the Uganda Media Centre in Kampala on Tuesday, UNMA referred to the current rains as off – season rainfall, which is unstable and unreliable for farming.
