The ClimSA’21 Forum will be hosted by Kenya and take place virtually on 15, 16 and 18 November 2021.
The various and innovative sessions on the first two days will be dedicated to enable discussions on the current project status and the exchange between climate service users and providers across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Sessions will touch on the five target areas of the programme: Agriculture and Food Security, Energy, Water, Health and Disaster Risk Reduction.
Furthermore, cross-cutting themes such as gender balance, public private engagement, and innovative solutions (new technology) will be discussed in order to identify gaps, needs and potential development.
The third and final day will serve as an opportunity to bring all participants together to exchange insights, best practices and results of the first two days of the forum in order to provide a basis and an outlook into future activities.
THIS IS AN OPEN EVENT. Do not hesitate to share it among the community of climate services practitioners, activists and experts.
Furthermore, please share with any potential climate service users (organizations, institutions, individuals) who might be interested in the topics and the opportunities presented by the ClimSA Programme, and the provision of climate-related information and services.
